Harvest and Handling


To track herb health and product quality we do daily assessments of insect and disease presence. Our harvesting procedures include protocols for identifying crops which do not meet quality standards due to these and other factors. By harvesting, packaging and shipping product on a daily basis to meet order demands, we provide the freshest product possible to our customers.

Harvesting: All of our herbs are hand harvested with sterilized scissors to ensure the highest quality product, meet food safety regulations and maintain plant health.

Cooling: While being harvested, the product is placed in sanitized totes with color-coded labels allowing us to track all organic product. These totes are placed in appropriate coolers to maintain freshness and prolong shelf life.

Packaging: The packaging department individually inspects all product for damage and then packs our herbs in ¾ oz, 2 oz and 4 oz plastic tubs. After enjoying our herbs, please recycle the packaging where local facilities exist.
