About Chef Herb
Chef Herb has traveled the globe in search of adventure, exploration, and good food. He found his passion for cooking after college on a backpacking trip that brought him into conversation with home cooks, food artisans, and culinary experts from around the world. Since his travels, Chef Herb has become quite the home cook! He loves to dabble in international cuisines, but his main interest is fresh herbs. If his time abroad and in the kitchen has taught him anything, it’s that nothing enhances the flavor of foods like fresh herbs.
Let Chef Herb show you how easy it is to incorporate fresh herbs into your daily cooking — after all, you don’t have to be a gourmet to eat like one!

I used to have a small bayleaf tree. Do you sell them and where can I purchase it?
Unfortunately, we do not sell this product right now. We do however, sell Bay Leaves (just the leaf) in packages. You can find them in many different grocery stores, in the produce section. I hope this helps.
You guys need to do some quality checks at some of the grocery stores, I wanted to buy some mint leaves and they where brown and the other herbs they where selling (all your products) looked like they should have been tossed. I like the site but would love it if i could have purchased or been directed to another grocer that does carry your products.
We are sorry to hear your experience with the plants. We do have some people in the field who are visiting stores on a regular basis. If we know the stores you are seeing with issues, please email us at herbs@freshherbs.com and we can have someone visit that store.
We have had some people post on our facebook page recently about where they have purchased our products. You can take a look at those posts at . Hope this helps.
Hi, I bought large basil and mint plants at the local Food Lion in Elizabeth City, NC I want more, especially Cilantro, flat leafed parsley, and oregano. – perhaps more. I keep searching and can’t find out how to order, only really great information, and I thank you for that. Linda
So happy you like the plants. The Organic Living Herb plants are available in most major grocery stores on the East Coast and west to the Mississippi River. Unfortunately, we do not accept online orders for our plants. If your favorite grocery store is out of stock or does not carry the item, speak with the produce manager and ask if they can order the item for their department. They may keep the items in stock if they know their customers are looking for it. Hope this helps.
